SwannCloud is an Android app developed by Swann Communications (Unit 5B, 706 Lorimer Street Port Melbourne Victoria Australia 3207). Others apps created by Swann Communications are: SwannView Plus, SwannView Link.

SwannCloud first became available on 15 May 2014. It is estimated that SwannCloud has been downloaded between 50000 and 100000 times from the Play Store.

SwannCloud 3.3.1 requires the following permissions:

Allows an app to access precise location. Alternatively, you might want ACCESS_COARSE_LOCATION.

Allows applications to access information about networks.

Allows applications to access information about Wi-Fi networks.

Allows an application to initiate a phone call without going through the Dialer user interface for the user to confirm the call.

Allows access to the list of accounts in the Accounts Service.

Allows applications to open network sockets.

Allows read only access to phone state, including the phone number of the device, current cellular network information, the status of any ongoing calls, and a list of any PhoneAccounts registered on the device.

Allows an application to record audio.

Allows access to the vibrator.

Allows using PowerManager WakeLocks to keep processor from sleeping or screen from dimming.

Allows an application to write to external storage.

Allows an application to read or write the system settings.
